The Senate met briefly at the parliament house in Islamabad today with Deputy Chairman Mirza Muhammad Afridi.

At the outset, the quorum was pointed out. On counting the house was not found in order and the chair adjourned the proceedings of the house till Monday at four pm amidst rumpus by the PTI members over the arrest of Senator Azam Swati.
