World Diabetes Day is being observed on Tuesday.

According to United Nations, over the past decade, diabetes prevalence has risen faster in low and middle-income countries than in high-income countries.

In a message on the Day, Chief Minister Punjab Shahabaz Sharif has said that the government has taken various steps to control the disease.
