State Bank of Pakistan has informed the public that old design large size banknotes can be exchanged upto 31st of this month, after which these notes will lose their value.

According to press statement issued by State Bank, the federal government had extended the last date for exchange of old design large size banknotes of rupees 10, 50, 100 and 1000 by one year, last year.

The statement said this is the last and final deadline for exchange of such banknotes, and upon its expiry, these banknotes would no longer be exchangeable and will lose their value.
