Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh held separate meetings with Congressmen Bill Foster, Glenn Ivey and David Schweikert to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and the US.

During his meeting with Congressman Bill Foster, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations. The two sides also exchanged views on political, regional and global developments.

In his meeting with Congressman Glenn Ivey, the Ambassador focused on the potential of leveraging the Pakistani diaspora in the U.S to further strengthen ties. They explored avenues of collaboration in mutually rewarding sectors.

Both sides agreed to take concrete steps toward building a broader and more robust partnership.
