In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupied forces carried out cordon and search operations across various areas in Islamabad and Kulgam districts.
During these operations, residents were subjected to severe harassment and intense questioning in fabricated cases.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference strongly condemned ongoing judicial terrorism faced by thousands of Kashmiri detainees in IIOJK and across India.
In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson, Abdul Rashid Minhas highlighted plight of these political detainees including Masarat Alam Butt, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Aasiya Andrabi who continue to endure illegal detention and denial of basic rights.
He emphasized that Modi-led Hindutva government is deliberately prolonging detention of these individuals using unjust and manipulative tactics.
The APHC urged the United Nations, human rights bodies, and the International Court of Justice to urgently address this systematic abuse.
On the other hand, in a continuation of its colonial policies, BJP government has seized another property in Kulgam district.
This ongoing campaign is viewed as an attempt to economically destabilize Kashmiris and alter region’s demographic composition by settling non-Kashmiris on their land.
