Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has stressed the need for adopting modern technology to rebuild the country.

Addressing inauguration ceremony of Tech Lab at National Textile University in Karachi today, he said the world had transformed from the industrial and science era to information technology.

The Minister said it would further suddenly take a sharp turn in the next twenty-five to thirty years leaving many countries behind, who did not adopt the latest changes.

Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said China pulled its citizens out of poor states with the help of technology.
