Pakistan's Afaq Khan has won gold medal for the country in hundred meter snowshoeing race at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Italy. 

The Special Olympics World Winter Games that commenced on 8th of this month are concluding today.

The eight-day event was participated by over fifteen hundred athletes from over one hundred nations that took part in winter sports including alpine skiing, cross country skiing, dance sport, figure skating, floorball, short track speed skating, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
