At least five people have been killed after a powerful cyclone Mocha hit the coastlines of Bangladesh and Myanmar with heavy rain and strong winds.

More than 1,300 bamboo shelters in Cox's Bazar, the world's largest refugee camp, were also destroyed in the powerful cyclone.

Landslides and floods are also hitting the area.

Authorities say more than 500,000 people were evacuated from their homes in this south-eastern stretch of Bangladesh.
