12 Rabi-ul-Awal to be celebrated with full religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan says this year, 12 Rabi-ul-Awal will be celebrated in the country with full religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm.

He was talking to Dr. Sahibzada Sajid-ur-Rehman who called on him in Islamabad on Friday. Minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Qadri was also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister said on this occasion, full attention should be paid to acquaint the young generation with the guiding principles of the state of Medina and Seerat-e-tayyaba.

He said in today's age of internet and social media, the youth is being badly affected by evils like sex crimes and drugs.

The Prime Minister said to save the youth from these moral evils, it is very important to build their character in the light of the golden principles of Seerat-e-tayyaba.

He said to achieve this goal, the government has set up the Rehmat-ul-Alameen Authority, in which highly reputed scholars on Seerat-e-tayyaba will guide the youth in character building.

Punjab Minister for Agriculture Hussain Jahania Gardezi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday.

The government's initiatives for agricultural development in Punjab, Agriculture Transformation Plan and Kisan Card and matters of the constituency were discussed in the meeting.

Senator Waleed Iqbal also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today.

Overall political situation in the country, particularly of Lahore, was discussed in the meeting.
