A meeting on the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025 was held in Islamabad today with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.

The meeting was briefed about challenges and opportunities for smooth adoption of New Energy Vehicle policy in line with national priorities.

During the meeting, policy matters ranging from vehicle production, improving manufacturing processes and other related issues were discussed at length.

Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister stressed the importance of the timely development and implementation of the NEV Policy 2025-30.

He emphasized for coordinated efforts to achieve policy targets and align them with Pakistan's environmental and economic priorities.
