Coordinator to Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has called for collective action to overcome the challenge of climate change.

Addressing an event in Islamabad on Thursday, she stressed the importance of an effective early warning mechanism and educating people for timely preparations before natural disasters.

She said media can play important role in spreading awareness about climate change.
