Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi launched a mask-wearing campaign in the state in collaboration with World Health Organisation.
Speaking at the lauching ceremony at AJK medical college Muzaffarabad today [Wednesday], he said the campaign, aims to create awareness among people about wearing face masks and other precautionary measures to contain the spread of coronavirus.
He also lauded the role of W.H.O in this campaign as well as assisting the AJK government in other health-related projects.
Meanwhile, WHO Country Head, Dr. Plitha Mahi Pala met AJK PM and discussed health-related issues and W.H.O,s role in this regard.
The AJK Prime Minister thanked WHO for the provision of ambulances and other latest equipment to the people of LOC on short request.
