At least eighteen people have been killed and several others injured in a stampede at India's New Delhi Railway Station.

The stampede occurred after two trains to Prayagraj got cancelled, resulting in chaos at the platform.

Opposition leaders have questioned the BJP-led government over the stampede, claiming that arrangements were not made to control large crowds.
