Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to continue working together in building on fraternal bilateral relations.

The agreement came during a telephone call between Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and his Afghan counterpart Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Afghan Foreign Minister congratulated Ishaq Dar on assuming his office.

Ishaq Dar said expanding cooperation with Afghanistan in connectivity, trade, security, counter terrorism and people to people contacts is top priority for Pakistan.
