Minister for Health Services Mustafa Kamal has called for a more integrated strategy to make Pakistan Polio Free country.
This he stated during a visit to Emergency Operation Center for Polio in Karachi on Sunday.
The Minister said complete eradication of polio virus is a national priority and federal government will provide all possible support to provinces.
He also appreciated health workers and district administration in the national polio eradication campaign.
Mustafa Kamal expressed concern over the fact that 4 out of 6 polio cases this year have been reported from Sindh.
Earlier, Provincial Coordinator of the Emergency Operation Center for Polio Irshad Ali Sodhar briefed the minister on the vaccination campaigns and challenges being faced by the polio teams and workers.
