Iran has assured full cooperation in bringing to justice the perpetrators responsible for the deaths of eight Pakistani citizens and in repatriating the victims' mortal remains.

Deputy Prime Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, who gave this assurance, while offering condolences on the tragic death of eight Pakistanis in Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also briefed the Ishaq Dar regarding the 12th April talks between Iran and the US in Oman, which the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan appreciated and encouraged.

Meanwhile, a special flight carrying dead bodies of the eight Pakistani labourers martyred in Sistan province of Iran arrived at Bahawalpur airport on Thursday morning.

Five martyrs belong to Khanqah Sharif, two from Ahmad Pur Sharqia and one belongs to Musafir Khana.

Later, the dead bodies, shifted to their native areas through ambulances.
