The first ever ladies power lifting centre, fitness centre and swimming  pool was inaugurated at Women’s Sports Complex of Punjab University in Lahore today (Wednesday).

University's Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasira Jabeen inaugurated the first-ever centre of its kind in any public sector university in Pakistan.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, she said Pakistani women are full of potential. She said  such initiatives would help women to bring their talent into mainstream sports.
