Prominent journalist Salman Ghani has lauded the professionalism and strategic execution of the Pakistan Armed Forces, attributing their success in Operation Bunayan-um-Marsoos to strong leadership and preparedness.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan's Lahore correspondent Zunera Khalid, he emphasized the importance of effective coordination between military and political leadership, highlighting the government’s unwavering support for military initiatives.
Salman Ghani reiterated Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue, advocating for resolution in accordance with United Nations resolutions. He criticized India’s persistent refusal to engage in constructive dialogue, describing its stance as stubborn and hypocritical.
He also praised Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, expressing confidence that trusting the military yields positive results, as exemplified by the recent operation.
He condemned Indian media, referring to it as ‘Godi Media,’ for spreading biased narratives, while commending Pakistani media for responsible reporting that promotes peace.
Talking about regional security, Ghani questioned India's credibility regarding incidents like Pulwama, citing inconsistencies in India’s security framework. He expressed confidence in Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s leadership and highlighted Pakistan’s strong partnership with China, emphasizing ongoing technological and defense collaborations as vital for national progress.
Salman Ghani pointed out Pakistan Air Force’s notable capabilities, suggesting that India’s pride in its Rafale jets is undermined by Pakistan’s air strength. He called for transforming military successes into economic growth, asserting that Pakistan is gaining international respect as a responsible power.
