Voting of by-election in NA 240 Korangi-2 Karachi is underway.

Polling process started at 8:00 am and will continue till 5:00 pm without break.

The seat had fell vacant due to death of Iqbal Muhammad Ali of MQM Pakistan.

Twenty five Candidates belonging to MQM Pakistan, Pakistan Peoples Party, Grand Democratic Alliance, Pakistan Muslim League, Mohajir Qaumi Movement, Pak Sarzameen Party and eighteen independents are taking part in the election.

Strict security measures have been taken to maintain law and order in the constituency.
