Pakistani climbers Shehroze Kashif and Naila Kiani have successfully ascended the world’s 10th highest mountain in Nepal this morning hoisting the country’s flag on Mount Annapurna one.  

Secretary of Alpine Club of Pakistan Karrar Haidri said Shehroze has become the youngest mountaineer in the world to summit eleven peaks above 8000 meters, while Naila has become the first Pakistani woman to climb Annapurna.

He said it is heartening to see Pakistani climbers setting new records in mountaineering.
