Secretary General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev along with a delegation of senior officials is paying a two-day visit to Pakistan from today.

He is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.

During the visit, the Secretary General will have meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Foreign Secretary.

He will also speak at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad and engage with business leaders, entrepreneurs and media persons.

The visit of the Secretary General of the SCO will provide an opportunity for Pakistan to engage with the SCO Secretariat in advancing shared regional security and economic goals.
