British High Commissioner Christian Turner has rejected the speculations that British High Commission was involved in getting New Zealand cricket team's tour to Pakistan called off.

In a tweet, he said it was a decision of the New Zealand authorities that was taken independently.

Christian Turner, however, recognized that this is a sad day for cricket fans in Pakistan and around the globe, who were looking forward to the series.
