Germany has vowed to continue its support to Pakistan in tackling the disastrous situation due to flash floods and their aftermath in the country.
The expression was made during meeting of Pakistan-Germany bilateral government consultation in Islamabad on Monday.
The German delegation was headed by Minister for Economic Cooperation Florian Karner while the Pakistani side was headed by Joint Secretary Ministry of Economic Affairs Islam Zeb.
The German delegation extended heartfelt condolences to the flood affected families in Pakistan.
The German head of delegation briefed the meeting that Germany has expedited its short-term humanitarian assistance and middle-and long-term cooperation for Pakistan in this difficult situation and the total amount of German support for Pakistan currently adds up to approximately 60 million euros.
