The UN General Assembly (UNGA) has unanimously adopted Pakistan-sponsored resolution that reaffirms right to self-determination for the peoples who are subjected to colonial, foreign and alien occupation.

Talking to APP, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to United Nations, Munir Akram said General Assembly has reaffirmed our legal, political and moral case in support of all including Kashmiri people.

He said the resolution, co-sponsored by 71 countries, calls on countries to immediately cease their foreign military intervention in and occupation of foreign countries and territories.
