China has reiterated its support to Saudi Arabia and Iran in continuously advancing the process of improving their bilateral relations.

The reiteration came from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his meeting with Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani in Beijing.

Wang Yi said China always supports the people of the Middle East in independently exploring development paths, and in working together to solve regional security issues.

He suggested to both ministers that their countries should adhere to strategic choice of reconciliation, work for further progress in improving relations and reject external interference.
