Provincial Minister for Information Azma Bukhari has said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz invited Chinese investors and traders to invest in Punjab during her visit to China.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore today, she said that Chinese companies will soon initiate their projects in Punjab.

 She also revealed that the Chief Minister invited a Chinese solar company 'Jinko' to establish its solar plant in Punjab.

Azma Bukhari informed that during the visit of Huawei company, the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif invited Huawei to invest in Pakistan, particularly in Punjab and offered support for establishing an office in the Nawaz Sharif IT City.

She said that Punjab government is establishing a 1,000-bed cancer hospital in Punjab.

She informed that 700 buses are being procured for the various cities of Punjab.
