Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said the government's efforts have successfully put the economy on the right track.
Speaking in the National Assembly, he said we are fully focusing on the economy and the opposition should also contribute to further strengthen the economy.
The Minister said interest rate has come down to 13 percent and foreign exchange reserves surged to 12 billion dollars.
Talking about the political situation in the country, he said PML-N does not believe in political victimization. He said no advice has been issued from the Prime Minister House for political vendetta.
Attaullah Tarar said it was the PTI founder, who laid the foundation of vendetta politics in the country.
Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan said PTI needs to approach the Speaker Office if it wants a political dialogue in the country.
Responding to points raised by MNA Sher Afzal Marwat, he said the Speaker office is a neutral venue for every party and the PTI’s dialogue committee should convey a serious message to engage in talks.
He added that healthy dialogue between the opposition and the treasury benches is vital for a robust political and democratic system.
He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will take the allied parties into confidence if the PTI shows its seriousness for holding political talks.
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif also emphasized to create a conducive environment for a political dialogue.

Several bills were introduced in the House today.

The Chair referred the bills to the standing committees concerned.
