Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over attaining the record Current Account Surplus.
In a statement, he said reaching Pakistan's Current Account Surplus to 729 million dollars for the first time in ten years during November this year is welcoming and a good omen for the country's economy.
He said the reduction of policy rate by the State Bank of Pakistan, gradual decrease of inflation and price hike and increase in the Current Account Surplus is a testament to government's positive economic policies.
The Prime Minister said record increase in the Current Account Surplus will stabilize Pakistan's position in world economic market.
Shehbaz Sharif said this will also increase the confidence of domestic and international investors in Pakistan's economy.
He lauded the Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz Malik and government's economic team for achieving this milestone.
