Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that economic and progress indicators of the country are heading in the right direction.
He was talking to US Consul General Kristin Hawkins in Lahore today. During the meeting, they discussed ways to boost bilateral ties in health, education and agriculture sectors.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that Punjab will welcome US cooperation for modernization of the agriculture sector.
Speaking on the occasion, the US Consul General said that several programs are being completed in the health, education and agriculture sectors of Punjab with US assistance.
Appreciating US cooperation, the Punjab Governor proposed establishment of model schools in far off backward districts with US assistance.
