Nadir Magsi and Tushna Patel have won the fourteenth Cholistan Jeep Rally in their respective categories held in Cholistan Desert near Bahawalpur.

Nadir Magsi covered the distance of four hundred and sixty seven kilometers in four hours, thirty minutes and thirty five seconds, while Zain Mahmood stood second with four hours, thirty nine minutes and twenty six seconds and Sahibzada Sultan secured third place with four hours, forty two minutes and fifty five seconds.

In female category, Tushna Patel covered the distance of one hundred and five kilometers in on one hour, forty one minutes and twenty seven seconds while Salma Marwat got second position with one hour, fifty four minutes and forty seven seconds.

Our Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent Sajjad Parvez reports that Commissioner Bahawalpur Division, Nayer Iqbal who was the chief guest of closing ceremony distributed trophies and prize money cheques among the position holders of the Cholistan Jeep Rally’s different categories.

While addressing the ceremony, he said the Cholistan Jeep Rally has become instrumental for highlighting the centuries old rich cultural heritage, tradition and customs of Cholistan at national and international level.
