A meeting of the parliamentary committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was held in Karachi with Sher Ali Arbab in Chair.

Speaking on this occasion, Sher Ali Arbab stressed the need for timely completion of the CPEC projects.

The meeting was briefed about the progress on Thar Coal, Special Economic Zones, KT Bandar project, Karachi Circular Railway, BRT and other projects.

Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah informed the committee that additional 660MW electricity from Thar will also be added to the national grid this year.
