Tenders for Rawalpindi Ring Road Project will be opened after 27th of this month.

This process will be completed till 15th June and contract will be awarded to the successful bidder till 20th June. Twenty-five multinational companies will be bidding to get the contract.

Ring road will be signal free and three hundred thousand different kinds of trees will be planted on its both sides. Its foundation stone will be laid before 30th June and the project will be completed in two years.

Sixty-four kilometer long road will consist of six lanes and eight interchanges. It will also contain four industrial zones.
