Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has called on the international community to recognize an independent Palestinian state.

He was talking to prominent figures in Mina who performed the Hajj this year.

The Crown Prince emphasized that this step is crucial for achieving peace.

He said Saudi Arabia renews its call to the international community to recognize the independent State of Palestine, on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Mohammed bin Salman said this will enable the brotherly Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights and pave the way for comprehensive, just, and lasting peace.
