The First Lady Bushra Bibi, has said that she wishes for Pakistan to become a Madina-like welfare state providing social justice and equality to all.

In an interview with APP after the oath-taking ceremony of the Prime Minister at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, she said such a model of governance free from unnecessary protocols will ensure the well-being of the people.

Clad in head-to-toe white silk attire and face-covering veil, Bushra Bibi said it is a day of happiness for the Pakistanis.

Bushra Bibi said she prayed for this day to become a reality for the betterment of Pakistanis.
