Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman (Former Chairman, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee): Pakistan’s constitution and law grant equal rights to all Pakistanis, irrespective of their religion and faith. The sad incident in Jaranwala requires thorough investigation and culprits must be brought to justice. We highly condemn this tragic incident and pay sympathies with the affected populace. We also demand to hold equal investigation of desecration of Holy Quran in this incident. Law must spring into action so that people do not take law into their hands and disturb peace of the country. Pakistan is passing through a critical juncture at this moment. The enemies within and outside Pakistan want anarchy in the country and we need to foil their attempts.
