Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rehman has called off visit to India for BRICS summit next month, unless New Delhi extradites ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid.                                   

This was confirmed by Bangladesh's foreign ministry spokesperson Shahidul Karim in response to media queries regarding the cancelled visit.       

He said Bangladesh's position is clear on the matter and an appropriate environment needs to be created for this visit.
