September 18, 2024

Sikhs for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has filed a case against the Indian government in the United States for conspiring to kill him.

This legal action announcement was made by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun while addressing a news conference along with his lawyers. Names of Ajit Doval, Sumant Goel, Vikram Yadav and Nikhil Gupta of the Indian intelligence agency have been included in the assassination plot.

The complaint by Gurpatwant Singh Pannu states that officials reporting to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Nikhil Gupta to hire assassins.

According to the complaint, India wanted to silence the voice of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who speaks for the right of self-determination of Sikhs, persecution of religious minorities and human rights violations by Modi government.
