Caretaker PM demands world to play role in stopping massacre of Palestinians

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar attended the third Belt and Road Forum in Beijing today.

He held informal meetings with the world leaders participating in the forum.

The Prime Minister discussed with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres the situation arising as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza.

He described Israeli attack on the Gaza hospital and the martyrdom of five hundred Palestinians as a result of the attacks in a single day as inhumane and a serious violation of human rights.

The Prime Minister strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinians and emphasized on immediate ceasefire as well as delivery of aid to the victims.

Anwaar ul Haq demanded the United Nations and international community to immediately play their role in stopping the massacre of innocent Palestinians by Israel.

The Prime Minister also met with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym Jomart Tokayev and discussed bilateral relations and regional situation. They discussed promotion of cooperation in trade and energy sector.

On the sideslines of 3rd Belt and Road Forum, the Prime Minister also held a meeting with President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe.  

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar met with Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea James Marape on the sidelines of 3rd Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.
