Foreign Office spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal says some of the Pakistani passengers stranded at Kuwait airport have been issued boarding passes for the flight leaving for Lahore tonight while the remaining would be accommodated tomorrow (Sunday).

In a tweet, the spokesperson said due to heavy rains Kuwait declared emergency for three days and its airport suspended operations for few hours on Thursday.

Some Pakistani passengers transiting through Kuwait were stranded due to cancellation of Kuwait airlines flights to Lahore.
