PM launches digital portal to facilitate overseas Pakistanis for attestation of power of attorney

Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a digital portal to facilitate overseas Pakistanis for attestation of power of attorney.

Addressing the launching ceremony in Islamabad today [Thursday], the Prime Minister said overseas Pakistanis are our asset. He said our government is committed to bring ease in the lives of overseas Pakistanis.

Imran Khan said overseas Pakistanis are interested to invest in Pakistan but corruption is a hindrance.

He said all embassies have been sensitized to facilitate overseas Pakistanis especially working class living in UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on voting right of overseas Pakistanis, the Prime Minister said inclusion of our people living abroad in electoral system will strengthen democracy.

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NADRA was also signed at the ceremony.

This portal will be linked with NADRA's database and it is initially being launched for ten countries.
