The Palestine Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the decision of five countries to refer Israel to the International Criminal Court on its relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on social media platform X, it welcomed the referral to International Criminal Court on situation in the State of Palestine by South Africa, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Comoros and Djibouti.

The referral has asked International Criminal Court to vigorously investigate the crimes under its jurisdiction and within the context of the Situation in the State of Palestine.

It further said the international impunity that is being enjoyed by Israel for the past seventy five years must come to an end.
