Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi has said that construction work at Gaddafi Stadium is progressing at a rapid pace. 

Talking to media representatives in Lahore today, he said that the PCB team is closely monitoring the construction, which will be completed ahead of schedule. 

He said that the ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan. 

Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that sports should be kept separate from politics. 

He said that the ICC needs to consider its reputation carefully. 

He also said that the schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy has been revised. 

In response to a question, he said that all teams are prepared for the ICC Champions Trophy, and if India has any concerns, they can be addressed. He further asserted that there is no valid reason for the Indian team not to participate in the ICC champion Trophy tournament in Pakistan.
