Pakistan has made a groundbreaking achievement in agricultural development by harvesting a record fifteen million metric tons of bio fortified, zinc-enriched wheat.
According to officials and experts, this substantial produce is expected to address widespread zinc deficiencies particularly amongst children and women.
Developed in collaboration with Harvest Plus and the Wheat Research Institute at Ayub Agriculture Research Institute in Faisalabad, this bio fortified crop offers superior nutritional value and disease resistance, making it a transformative step for the country's agricultural landscape.
