Chaudhry Fawad Hussain (Minister for Information and Broadcasting) says Pakistan is making all possible efforts for provision of humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.  He said Pakistan is consistently trying to draw the world attention towards the plight of Afghan people and hosting the OIC meeting is part of those efforts. He stressed that being next door neighbour of Afghanistan this particular OIC conference has got an immense significance.  OIC should onus the responsibility to promote strong brotherhood bondage among the Muslim states. There is a pragmatic enthusiasm amongst its members to curtail the looming human crisis supplemented with solution oriented measures.In addition, the keen interest that P-5 countries took in this conference has augmented the potential productivity to evolve positive outcomes. It is high time that World big powers should understand the gravity of situation in Afghanistan and play their role in this regard.He expressed optimism that with the concern of the world at large and OIC members’ quest in particular we are hopeful to reach some realistic breakthrough to solve Afghan conundrum.

Shaukat Tarin (Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance) has expressed his feelings that the world should see the development at later stage, primarily we have to curtail a possible upheaval of human crisis.  There is a dire need to extend sufficient aid to get control over miseries of people of Afghanistan. He laid emphasis to uplift financial sanctions which are the core hindrance to some workable solution.

Najmuddin Sheikh (Former Foreign Secretary) has emphasized that the financial sanctions are the cardinal hindrance to get things going in constructive direction. Contrary to this it will fuel the menace of terrorism to engulf the peace process in embryonic stage. This conference is a symbol of peace and tranquillity not merely for the region but for a collective interest of the world at large. This OIC conference is designed to eradicate any potential threat to the peace process and to stop hostilities.Afghanistan is a multi-ethnic and multi-linguistic country comprising of Pashtuns, Turkmen, Uzbek and Hazaras. It is very important to help them formation of an all-inclusive government comprising of all segments of society. It is responsibility of International Organisations to help Afghan government in establishing governing structure in the country. World has understood the intensity of a possible  human crisis apart from political puzzle. All stake holders have to think to a higher level of human dignity to get things even. Gradually, the political discourse will pave its way with diplomatic discourse in times to come but probable human catastrophe is a daunting question. In this regard, world should come up with some precautionary measures to mop up further turmoil in the region, which can hurt global balance.

Nagmana Hashmi (Former Ambassador) Pakistan has a tremendous role to initiate unity among the Muslim Ummah by an efficient coordination; this conference is a glaring example of it. Pakistan provided an added opportunity for the West as well to come forward a play some tangible role in peace and rehabilitation process. Realistically, mere promises are not enough to heal the wounds of Afghan people, they should be treated apart from government by releasing their freeze assets as money belong to them.
