The new Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah has expressed full support for Pakistan-Kuwait ties and affirmed his commitment to further augment this relationship.

He was talking to Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar who visited Kuwait to offer condolences over the sad demise of Amir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah expressed gratitude to the leadership, government and the people of Pakistan for standing with the people of Kuwait in this time of grief.  

The Prime Minister offered his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the leadership, government and people of Pakistan.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will be remembered as well-wisher and friend of Pakistan who made great contributions in advancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly states.
