The dense fog in various cities of Punjab including Lahore has badly affected traffic flow on motorway sections.

According to Motorways spokesman Syed Imran, the visibility has dropped due to dense fog on main roads in plain areas across the province.

He said due to dense fog Motorway M2 was closed from Lahore to Kot Momin and Motorway M3 was also closed from Faizpur to Rajana.

He said that Lahore Sialkot Motorway is also closed due to heavy fog, Motorway M4 from Abdul Hakeem to Pindi Bhattian while Motorway M5 from Shershah to Gadoo is closed due to low visibility.

The spokesman urged people to contact helpline130 for information and assistance.
