A delegation led by Chairman Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh today visited the Parliament House, Islamabad today.

Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq welcomed the delegation.

They exchanged views on strengthening parliamentary and economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The Chairman Saudi Shura Council thanked the Speaker and Members of the National Assembly for according him and his delegation warm welcome.

He said Pakistan is an important country of the Islamic World and Saudi Arabia desires of a prosperous and developed Pakistan. He also expressed his country's wish to strengthen parliamentary and economic relations with Pakistan.

He also stressed the need to further cement parliamentary linkages between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council also met with Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and emphasised the need to further enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
