The United Arab Emirates has affirmed desire to preserve territorial integrity and provide political and humanitarian support to Syria. 

The support was expressed by Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed while talking to Syrian President Bashar Assad at Abu Dhabi. 

Sheikh Mohammed said that Syria is a fundamental pillar of Arab security, and the UAE is keen to strengthen bilateral cooperation to achieve aspirations of Syrian stability and development.
