Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal has said the tragic death of 17 years old, Sabika, the young daughter of Pakistan, at Santa Fe is heartbreaking.

In a tweet, he said Our Consul General is in touch with the family and the local authorities and is making efforts to arrange the earliest repatriation of the human remains. He also prayed for the departed soul.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has expressed condolence over killing of Pakistani student Sabika Sheikh in the United States with her family.

Sakiba Sheikh was killed in a firing incident at Santa Fe schoo in Texas yesterday.

She had been studying in the United States under Youth Exchange and Study programme.
