Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting Peshawar today.
He will also visit Radio Pakistan Peshawar and witness the damaged building of Broadcasting House of Radio Pakistan Peshawar by the protesters.
The Prime Minister will be briefed by the Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Tahir Hassan about the damages of the Broadcasting House, records, restoration of transmission and rehabilitation works at the Broadcasting House.
Director News, Director Engineering, Director Programme and other officers from Radio Pakistan Islamabad will also be present on this occasion.
Our Peshawar Correspondent reports that the Prime minister will also visit different sections of Radio Pakistan Peshawar and will interact with the staff of the station.
Miscreants vandalized and set on fire the building of Radio Pakistan Peshawar on 9th of this month during the violent protests after arrest of PTI chief Imran Khan, which cause the breakdown of transmission for twenty-six hours.
The engineering staff of Radio Pakistan Peshawar restored the transmission on an emergency basis with the support of Pak Army.
Later, Shehbaz Sharif will visit Governor House where he will be brief about the overall law and order situation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Prime Minister will also meet the political leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
